Jeff DuFresne | Executive Director

Jeff DuFresne joined ULI Atlanta as Executive Director in November 2005. DuFresne’s extensive experience in Atlanta real estate over the past 20+ years includes development, acquisitions, and portfolio management. He is perhaps best known for his success in overseeing several local development and re-development projects, such as Centennial Tower, Renaissance Square, as well as One Ninety One Peachtree Tower and Peachtree Center, which were named International Buildings of the Year by the Business Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in 1997 and 2004, respectively.
    Prior to joining ULI, DuFresne was regional vice president of Colonnade Properties LLC, senior vice president of Lennar Partners and senior investment manager for the Dutch Institutional Holding Company (DIHC).
    DuFresne holds the CCIM and CPM real estate designations, earned a bachelor degree in economics and urban planning from Trinity College (Hartford) and concentrated in marketing and finance at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business (New York).
    In his spare time, Jeff enjoys his time with his wife Jodi, skiing, hiking and traveling…six continents and counting.

Barbra Bowers | Senior Associate

Barbra Bowers joined the ULI team in November 2009 from RCLCo. Bowers continues the misson of ULI by providing logistical and operational support to the ULI Atlanta district council and members.  Barbra works on the Center for Regional Leadership Development, Community Action Grants, Technical Assistance Programs, and UrbanPlan.

Tamia Sammons | Associate

Tamia Sammons joined the ULI team in March 2009. Sammons continues the mission of ULI by providing program & event planning and administrative support to the ULI Atlanta district council staff and members in all areas such as membership, sponsorship, communications and community outreach.

Prior to coming to ULI, Ms. Sammons worked for Kim Kline & Associates as a Pre-Closer and Shipiro Development Corporation as an Executive Assistant. Ms. Sammons is currently an active Real Estate Licensee at Real Estate Investments, LLC consulting to clients, builders, and investors here in the metro area. She earned her Associates Degree from Georgia Perimeter College and looks forward to continuing her education at Southern Poly Tech in Construction Management.

In her spare time, Tamia enjoys reading, playing with her Boston Terrier Tyson, and watching Bruce Lee movies.
